It is common knowledge that while installing any program at the same time, a number of files are installed on the hard disc and in your Windows folder. The uninstallation of a Windows program requires to follow several steps. If you don’t remove the program completely it can lead you to various problems.
First of all you have to check the program’s documentation whether it has the option of uninstallment or not. If there is, then use it in order to remove the program completely.
If you didn’t find such option then you can use the Windows Add/Remove programs wizard. The program can be found in your Windows Control Panel. The only thing you have to do is to click “Add/Remove” to remove the program. It is recommended to follow the instructions in the uninstall wizard in order to delete the program completely.
Use the RegCure, after you have uninstalled the program. Sometimes the program’s uninstall utility or add/remove programs wizard miss extra registry entries that is why RegCure will remove them completely.
There are cases when it is impossible to uninstall the program. It can be explained by the fact that there is no an uninstall utility or the Windows add/remove programs wizard functions badly. If it happens so, you have to remove the application’s program folder but it is considered to be the last option.
Before deletion of the folder, it is better to give a new name to the application’s folder and then restart your computer. If your PC restarts without any problem you can continue to delete the folder. But if any problems arise while restarting, you should again rename the folder, giving the original name and refuse deleting it.
